Born from the heart of a plant lover, herbalist, and maker, always in search of the connection between mother earth and homeopathic remedies using ingredients harvested in the natural ground we walk on. This allows me to grow the finest ingredients, using less hands, which are then used for small batches of cold processed soap loaves, lip balms & salves made from scratch using nature's kitchen. It is my mission to create vegan medicinal spirits, beauty products and soaps free of chemicals, preservatives, or unethical materials, completely handmade for you to enjoy.

HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS - CHICAGO
Originally opened as Leaders Soap Company in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood in 2009, by an Oncology Massage Therapist who was concerned with her clients' dry, irritated skin. Returning to simpler times, the use of her own kitchen & garden, she created her very first soap from scratch — Chamomile, perfect for sensitive and inflamed skin. This led to experimenting and creating over 25 different soap varieties and an understanding of a deeper connection to what we put ON and IN our bodies should be one in the same.
She recently transformed a building that started out as an old printing shop- turned tire shop- which ultimately led to the home of Workshop Apothecary!
